Lizard Technology is an industrial innovation company established in 2009 at the Innovation Center of Southern Denmark (Syddansk Innovation), Odense, Denmark.
The overall purpose is to identify, develop and commer-cialize new leading edge audio and sound technologies and platforms in close cooperation with universities, research institutions, industry and public and private investors.
The primary technology focus in the coming years is to develop leading egde base technologies within the areas of:
• Active Sound Localization (ASL) -
• Virtual Spatial Sound Presentation (VSS)
• Combinations of ASL/VSS with other sound technologies
ASL is a new unique intelligent sensor and pointing technology to be applied within a whole range of application areas like security and surveillance systems medico/handicap support aid systems and mobile toys.
VSS is a new leading edge 3-dimentional sound and voice change technology - we call it artificial coloring of sound - to be applied within application areas like military and civil intercommunication and field operating systems, security, reconnaissance and surveillance systems, virtual training systems, teleconference systems, mobile phones/ PDAs, computer games and maybe even hearing aids.
