New CEO at Lizard Technology
January 2011
From February 2011, Karsten Vandrup is appointed CEO of Lizard Technology. Vandrup has a background from the electronics industry with various positions in market leading enterprises like Nokia and Litepoint.
Vandrups role is to drive Lizard in the fast growth the company is facing, while the unique Sound innovations are hitting the market. Lizard is aiming at the market for automation and Robots primarily abroad, and Vandrups experience from high tech regions Espoo, Finland and Silicon Valley, California comes in handy.
"Lizard is a prime example of Danish Innovation when it is best, bringing deep university research to the markets. We expect to revolutionize the Robot and Automation Industry within a few years", says Karsten Vandrup, who is excited about the innovational spirit in his new office in Odense, Denmark.

A FPGA-based prototype of the Active Sound Localization (ASL) technology, and a DSP-based prototype of the Virtual Spatial Sound (VSS) technology are ready for demo for customers, business partners, researchers and other interested parties.
